Experience at the booth FAF 2024

For a healthy painter's back!

PROFITEC and the experienced physiotherapist Dominik Wiesel have developed simple exercise modules with the new PROFITEC Blackroll. The fascia roller helps painters to relax with simple exercises, prevent injuries and improve their performance.

According to an occupational health report by the BG BAU, painters suffer most frequently from musculoskeletal disorders. Tension in the lower back is particularly common, as are complaints in the shoulder and neck area.

PROFITEC has therefore developed simple exercise modules with the new PROFITEC Blackroll together with experienced physiotherapist Dominik Wiesel. The fascia roll helps painters to relax with simple exercises, prevent injuries and improve their performance.

Clever roll with physiotherapeutic know-how

Painters' work puts considerable strain on the back. Overloading, injuries and stress can create unstructured tangles. The fasciae become matted and hardened - resulting in pain.

As a physiotherapist and osteopath, Dominik Wiesel is an expert in back fitness. He has already treated a number of craftsmen who came to his practice because of their chronic pain.

In order to find a simple and easily accessible solution, PROFITEC asked Wiesel to take a closer look at the everyday movement patterns in the painting trade in order to develop a program for strained backs.

In combination with the training program, the fascia roll specifically improves regeneration, mobility and performance.

Healthy fasciae are flexible and slippery. Effective fascia training with the PROFITEC Blackroll therefore aims to relieve tension, increase flexibility and prevent long-term health problems.

"The fascia roll is an effective tool for self-massage. The exercises in the videos, which are freely available on YouTube, show how to use the fascia roll correctly to quickly and easily relieve tension and improve flexibility," explains Dominik Wiesel.

All 16 exercises are deliberately designed to be entertaining and can be performed individually or in series. There's a suitable workout for everyone - both those who don't like sport and those who do can get started straight away.

"With PROFITEC you can do everything - except your health! With our fascia roll and the training program, we want to specifically improve the regeneration, mobility and performance of painters," adds PROFITEC Brand Manager Mario Mettke.

Dominik Wiesel's life performance at FAF 2024 in Cologne is the highlight of the PROFITEC campaign, which runs until April 30. Further information can be found here
