Maximum quality, minimum effort: spray painting

The spraying process enables efficient coating of large surfaces such as doors, wall and ceiling panelling. The Aqua-Nova PRO spray paint from ADLER guarantees reliable application and perfect surface quality.

Several dozen interior doors including door frames. One hundred square metres of wood panelling on the ceiling. A banister spanning four storeys: painting work like this is a challenge for any craftsman. Using a brush and roller, initial and renovation coats on such large surfaces are time-consuming and arduous. Spray coating provides a remedy: Even large and angled surfaces can be painted efficiently and in a time-saving manner. And with the universal Aqua-Nova PRO spray paint from ADLER, you also get a perfect surface quality in any desired colour!

Tips from the master painter

André Klinger from Waldenbuch near Stuttgart is probably one of the best-known painters in Germany. On his YouTube channel "Malermeister Klinger", the likeable Swabian lets you look over his shoulder as he works and gives practical tips from professionals for professionals. When it comes to coating large surfaces, Klinger has always sworn by the spraying process: "For us as a small family business, it's particularly important to work efficiently. My experience is that from 25 square metres at the latest, it is worth using an airless device instead of a brush and roller - a surface that would otherwise take an hour to coat can be done in just a few minutes. What's more, the spraying process is also much less strenuous, for example on textured surfaces such as wooden panels or when working overhead." But what about the set-up and cleaning times for the spray gun - doesn't this immediately "eat up" the time saved? No, says Klinger: "Many painters overestimate the time required for preparation and finishing work and therefore shy away from spraying. The handy airless devices are quickly ready for use, then all you have to do is put on your protective clothing, including mask and goggles, and you're ready to go. And cleaning doesn't take long either, especially with the low-odour water-based paints: Clean or replace the filter, rinse the device a few times with fresh water, grease it and you're done."

Beautiful finish

In addition to its efficiency, spray application also impresses with the quality of the painted surface: "If you have the necessary feeling and a steady hand, you can achieve a much more attractive surface appearance and significantly better coverage with spray application," reports Klinger. This requires the right technique, but above all the right coating material. Klinger has had excellent experiences with ADLER's architectural paints - for example when painting the ceiling panelling in an attic flat: Klinger first primed the wood with Aqua-Isoprimer PRO Spray from ADLER to isolate the wood ingredients - "The primer has the great advantage that it dries extremely quickly and there are no waiting times." Klinger then quickly coated the panels with ADLER Aqua-Nova PRO Spray. The water-based paint impresses with its high opacity and outstanding surface quality - on any substrate: on wood, metal or PVC, on old coatings and powder primers, in white or any desired colour - the universal building paint Aqua-Nova PRO Spray always delivers what it promises. And that is what ultimately counts for him, says André Klinger: "As a master painter, I know that I know my trade. If I can also rely one hundred per cent on the coating material, then I can be sure that the result will be right - and I have never been disappointed with ADLER's paints and wood protection products."
